WHAT IS THE SCHOOL’S POLICY REGARDING TEMPERATURE CHECKS?
Based on current information from the medical community and health guidelines, MCDS will not take student and employee temperatures as a matter of routine practice. However, parents (on behalf of their children) and employees will be asked to
confirm prior to their coming to campus that they do not have a fever (body temperature over 100.4).
The school nurse and/or faculty/staff will use temperature taking as one of several tools to identify potential ill students or employees. We also have isolation procedures in case we need to remove a sick child from a classroom during the day.
