SIUDY Flamenco - October 4

Siudy Flamenco has been awarded prestigious awards such as; “Bailaora” was the winner of the Municipal of Dance Honorable Award, Venezuela and their original work “Between Worlds”  (which performed for three months on Off-Broadway, New York) was nominated for outstanding choreography by the Drama Desk Off-Broadway, New York.  Since then, the company has toured throughout the Unites States, Canada, and Latin America performing original works like “Caminos Flamencos”, “Body & Soul”, “Bailaora”, “Between Worlds”, “Flamenco Intimo” and “Amor Brujo”. Siudy Flamenco has collaborated with important philharmonic orchestras such as, LA PHIL, South Florida Symphony Orchestra, Des Moines Symphony, New West Symphony, and Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) and has also collaborated in concerts, music videos and tv shows with latin artists such as, Marc Anthony, Alejandro Sanz, Romeo Santos, Mana, Gilberto Santa Rosa, “El Cigala” and others.  Siudy Flamenco has also collaborated with entities like Disney and Cirque de Soleil.

 

Siudy Flamenco has been featured at venues such as: Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles, CA), Adrienne Arsht Center (Miami, Florida), Place Des Arts (Montreal, Canada), Teresa Carreño (Caracas, Venezuela), Forum Imperial (Acapulco, Mexico),, Broward Center for the Performing Arts (Ft Lauderdale, Florida),, Curaçao Jazz Festival (Curaçao), Play for Good philanthropic event (Marbella, Spain), Miller Outdoor Theatre (Houston, Texas), Bob Carr Theater (Orlando, Florida), The Benedict Music Tent (Aspen, Colorado), Miami Dade County AUDITORIUM (Miami, Florida), Olympia Theater (Miami, Florida), New World Stages (New York, NY), Teatro Sánchez Aguilar (Guayaquil, Ecuador), Parker Playhouse (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Des Moines Civic Center (des Moines, IA), Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza (Thousand Oaks, CA), Oxnard Performing Arts Center (Oxnard, CA), and other international venues.   Siudy Garrido as a soloist has also been a guest artist at venues like Madison Square Garden (NY, NY), Staples Center (L.A., CA), America Airlines Arena (Miami, FL), and Amway Center (Orlando, FL).
