The IS Academic Experience

Impact Studio is a challenging, college preparatory program designed for today’s independent, self-directed learners.
All Impact Studio students are required to meet standard Miami Country Day School graduation credit requirements in order to complete the program. Impact Studio may be different in approach but not in requirement.

Academic Goals Lead to Earned Credits

Setting the program apart, students lead the process of determining the level of achievement they wish to earn credit via foundational, advanced, or college level course work.

This allows higher-level work to be personal and tailored to the student’s interests. This could happen by deciding to sit for an AP exam, the development of an in-depth subject specific research project, the creation of a portfolio or, who knows where a student may go in their quest to learn!
