How to Apply

  1. Complete the Miami Country Day online application. The fee is $100 and you will receive an electronic check-list of next steps once we receive your application. online application
  2. Upload a copy of current and previous year report card to your electronic checklist.
  3. Email links of recommendation forms to your current Principal or School counselor, Math teacher and English teacher.
  4. Upload Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), or PSAT results.
  5. Student Video (2 min. or less) addressing the following:
    • Discuss an issue that is currently affecting your community. What do you propose should be done in order to address this issue? If you have already taken action, describe the steps of your process and what the results have been.
  6. Student short responses to the following prompts:
    • Discuss a time when you faced adversity and explain how you overcame (or are working to overcome) that challenge.
    • Why do you want to attend Impact Studio instead of a traditional high school program?
    • A key component of Impact Studio is the blended learning model in which students learn on campus, online, and in the field. What strategies will you use to ensure that you can be successful in all modes of education?
  7. Virtual interview with admissions officer.

Other criteria to be accepted into the program:

  • Successful completion of Algebra 1 or Integrated Math 1
  • Strong Character Record and excellent grades
  • Current Passport for travel

Important Dates

​Impact Studio is now accepting applications for students entering the 9th and 10th grades in the fall 2023 term. The application process will remain open until all spots in the program are filled.
